Our Focus

SamNova offers services to a large Client-base that includes Fortune 500 companies and start-up ventures. Depending on our Clients' needs, we have placed on a permanent basis a wide-range of Candidates ranging from senior executives to recent college graduates.

We primarily help Clients fill permanent positions on a contingency basis. We have also successfully conducted retained searches for several Clients.

SamNova has experience in finding talent in the areas of accounting, tax, internal audit, manufacturing operations, and supply chain, all areas of information technology, engineering, sales, marketing and human resources.

Our industry concentration is in all areas of manufacturing, retail, wholesale, distribution, telecommunications, utility services, software development and consulting firms.

With Clients across the United States, from Texas to Maine and California to Pennsylvania, we are not limited or defined by one singular geographical area.

Our goal is to build relationships that last. The longer we work with a Client, the better we understand the firm, the organization, its direction, structure and culture.  This relationship then allows SamNova to become a greater advocate and supporter in attracting strong talent to the company.

Engagement Principals

At SamNova, the quality and care we put in to a relationship and job search means everything.

We aim to deliver the best results consistently by following a set of engagement principals as follows:

  • We make every effort to understand and do research about a firm.
  • We meet with Clients face-to-face whenever possible. 
  • We qualify each job search by working with the hiring manager directly whenever possible to ensure we understand all aspects of open position.
  • We offer competitive fees.
  • We perform extensive research on Client job openings to ensure we find the best possible match for the position.
  • We look at our Candidate database for immediate and available qualified individuals. If we cannot find the right individual for a specific job in our database, we aggressively expand our search for talent.
  • Our preference is to never “flip” resumes to Clients as our key focus is to provide strong matches which lead to immediate interviews.
  • We conduct a three-part search for our Candidates which includes reference checks before a single Candidate is presented to a Client.
  • Candidates are never submitted to a Client unless the candidate has reviewed the job, the company, salary and location. We only send a resume to a Client with the candidate’s permission. 
  • We coordinate all interviews.
  • We help negotiate and finalize job offers, start dates and perform background checks as requested. 

 


Win-Win Philosophy


We believe that no search firm should be an island unto itself. We have seen countless examples of Clients with unfilled critical positions because traditional recruiting firms are not willing to team or split business. The end result is that the Clients' businesses suffer. In addition, when recruiting firms are not willing to work together, qualified Candidates miss out on great opportunities to become employed or advance their career. 

At SamNova, we believe just the opposite.

Our goal is to help the Client fill the position with the best talent we can find in the shortest order. SamNova is aligned to a series of Strategic Partners that have agreed to team with us on an on-going basis. These Partners are retained search firms, contingency firms, organizations and individuals. They have historically helped us source Candidates if and when we need help. If the partnership means we must give up a percentage of our fee, we are willing to do just that, all for the common goal of working together to ensure our Clients' continual success.

SamNova primarily places talent in permanent positions with Clients. Additionally, we have placed hourly senior consultants on diverse projects and job assignments based on our Clients' needs.
